The Senate is on track to give final approval this week to a two-year, $109 billion surface transportation bill, MAP-21. A final vote could come as early as tomorrow. A number of amendments ranging from tolling and Grand Canyon noise abatement to agricultural product transportation and bridge funding will be considered first.
The Senate meets today but will hold no votes on MAP-21. The House is in recess this week and could begin consideration of a reauthorization bill the week of March 19.
